When Jeep decided to start manufacturing vehicles that utilized the Engine Start-Stop (ESS) feature, they chose not to include a way to permanently disable the auto start-stop. So if you want to drive without the engine stopping at every stop light, you are forced to manually push the auto start-stop button to disable this feature, every time you start your vehicle. We, like you, found this to be a bit annoying and frustrating. Why should you, or anybody else, be forced to remember to turn something off, every single time you turn on your vehicle? We didn’t think that was fair either, nor did we find it a good use of your mental focus while you are driving through the busy streets of your city or town. We knew that we needed to provide something to alleviate this driving distraction and help the overall safety of the drivers on the road. That is why we now carry our easy-to-install, plug & play device which solves this problem immediately. Just plug it in and go.
In addition to disabling the auto start-stop system, the engine start-stop (ESS) feature can easily be reactivated at the press of a button, if you decide you need to use it. This amazing device gives you back the power to control when & where your engine shuts off. Yes, you will have full control over the ability to disable the auto start-stop feature on your vehicle.
Product Installation
Installation of this product would be rated a 1 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.
- Locate the security gateway module found behind the driver’s knee bolster. (Refer to photo below)
- Unplug the smaller 8-pin plug “C2” and mate it to the device’s female connector
- Plug the device’s male connector into the security gateway module

- Defects are extremely rare. Most “issues” are a misunderstanding of how the device works.The Autostop Eliminator functions to restore the last state. Assuming OFF is your preference, you may need to manually turn auto start-stop OFF once. After that, it’ll stay OFF.

Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments
General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

Works great, hubby talked me into getting it and like that I don’t have to keep pushing the auto-off button. Hubby had a little bit of an issue installing it as he can’t bend that easy to get up under the dash; but he got the job done.

Installing it was a bit of a pain, I have big hands and am not as flexible as I once was. Watching the install video help. It Was definitely worth all the trouble. Would buy it again.
