Remove and replace your vehicle’s HMI module with the our pre-programmed replacement HMI module. (Refer to PIC 1A) Route the GPS antenna just beneath the dash top (under the windshield) and plug the blue connector into the newly installed HMI module. Done!

Remove and replace your truck’s radio display by removing the outer bezel trim which will expose the screws that secure the inner bezel/screen. Simply swap the 4″ screen with the included 8″ screen. Done!

For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877 or FedEx1-800-463-3339 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

I received the merchandise on 02/14/18 and completed the install 02/19/18 which took about 1 1/2 hrs (mostly due to my disability). That is not the whole story…….prior to purchasing I was peppering customer service with questions and they took care of me with patience and expert advice. I researched this company and actually saw pictures of the employees and they are rated A+ everywhere and last, but not least, the twisty tie was in the gps antenna bag just like Doug said, it was right then I knew I had no worries, thank you Doug. Well I can’t give you a universe full of stars, but you have earned 5 stars, all of you!

The only thing the new navigation system doesn’t have is a page which would indicate the miles you have driven, the miles left on trip, the time of arrival, etc such as the Garmin has. But, I am still trying to learn how everything works so, who knows, I might find everything I would like to have.

GM told me the HMI 2.5 was on back order when my 2016 Silverado was built and that the HMI 2.0 currently in it could only be replaced with another HMI 2.0. I took the chance and ordered the HMI 2.5, installed it in 30 minutes and it works perfectly.

GM told me the HMI 2.5 was on back order when my 2016 Silverado was built and that the HMI 2.0 currently in it could only be replaced with another HMI 2.0. I took the chance and ordered the HMI 2.5, installed it in 30 minutes and it works perfectly.

My Wife got me this for Christmas. Great product! It only took me 20 minutes to install with a little help from the video. I did not have to take the top part of the dash all the away apart, just reached up thru the glove box for the wire. Worked Great!!!! Just a little expensive, other then that VERY HAPPY!

Absolutely easy to install this module. Watched the video, got a few tools, and in 15 minutes was done. The GPS is superb and the module interfaces perfectly with all my truck systems. Sat Radio, backup cam, full commands, etc all functioning perfectly.

I ordered the upgrade over the phone. It came three days later.
I installed it my self. I followed the youtube video, and was easy to install. Only four screws for the lower glove box. You do not need to
take the dash apart. There is room for your hand right next to the unit
to reach up under the dash to place the antenna. I used a two sided sticky pad made by 3M for the antenna. The Navigation works great. You can just say the destination rather than enter it. Love it.
It now receives text messages and reads them to me. I can send a text
by holding the button on my Iphone and siri will come through the truck
speakers and then text using siri. A little pricey but would do it again.

One of the best upgrades I have made to my truck. I wasn’t sure at first if this was going to work or if it was worth it but it definitely was worth it no more on star telling me were to go. If anyone doubts if they should do it to there truck I recommend you should do it you won’t regret it

Great upgrade – I love it. Using the maps from iOs vs the factory radio makes following directions much easier!
Only note I would make – On my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, I worked way too hard to take the glove box off. I followed the instruction video given by OEMAutopartsco.com on YouTube, which mentioned two screws needing to be removed first, pushing a button through to release the draw string on the drop box, then unscrewing four screws. After 45 minutes of trying, I looked in my manual for how to replace the cabin air filter (Which is behind the glove box) and learned that there are only four screws that need to be unscrewed to take the bottom glove box off. Other than the frustration I Had with that one piece of the install, the rest was cake.
Well worth the investment now that I have CarPlay!

The basic install took me an hour. I couldn’t get the dash cowl to lift up so my attennae sits on top. Otherwise, the unit works as advertised and is is seamless with the GM software functions.

Added the nav upgrade to a 2014 Silverado and it works great. It literally took me 15 minutes to do. I’d highly recommend this. The only issue I have which is an apple issue not the nav upgrade is I can receive texts on the screen. But I just can’t answer them through the screen.

I am a Demolition estimator and i drive all day long looking for address and my phone was not cutting it for me any more as i have to go to areas where i have no phone service and constantly getting lost!! After doing some research and looking at alot of youtube videos on how to add factory navigation to your Mylink radio i decided to go with OEM Autoparts because its just unplug your old Hmi module and plug in your new one and run the antenna! No need for splicing cables and stuff like the other once i saw! This was the best decision i have ever made works very well and now i have signal all the time! No more getting lost.

Everything seems to work just fine however I have the touchscreen that has given me problems and I sent it in for a repair check back with me when I get it back into the vehicle with the repaired touchscreen

I received the merchandise on 02/14/18 and completed the install 02/19/18 which took about 1 1/2 hrs (mostly due to my disability). That is not the whole story…….prior to purchasing I was peppering customer service with questions and they took care of me with patience and expert advice. I researched this company and actually saw pictures of the employees and they are rated A+ everywhere and last, but not least, the twisty tie was in the gps antenna bag just like Doug said, it was right then I knew I had no worries, thank you Doug. The only thing the new navigation system doesn’t have is a page which would indicate the miles you have driven, the miles left on trip, the time of arrival, etc such as the Garmin has. But, I am still trying to learn how everything works so, who knows, I might find everything I would like to have.

My Wife got me this for Christmas. Great product! It only took me 20 minutes to install with a little help from the video. I did not have to take the top part of the dash all the away apart, just reached up thru the glove box for the wire. Worked Great!!!! Just a little expensive, other then that VERY HAPPY!

I ordered the upgrade over the phone. It came three days later.
I installed it my self. I followed the youtube video, and was easy to install. Only four screws for the lower glove box. You do not need to
take the dash apart. There is room for your hand right next to the unit
to reach up under the dash to place the antenna. I used a two sided sticky pad made by 3M for the antenna. The Navigation works great. You can just say the destination rather than enter it. Love it.
It now receives text messages and reads them to me. I can send a text
by holding the button on my Iphone and siri will come through the truck
speakers and then text using siri. A little pricey but would do it again.

Only note I would make – On my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, I worked way too hard to take the glove box off. I followed the instruction video given by OEMAutopartsco.com on YouTube, which mentioned two screws needing to be removed first, pushing a button through to release the draw string on the drop box, then unscrewing four screws. After 45 minutes of trying, I looked in my manual for how to replace the cabin air filter (Which is behind the glove box) and learned that there are only four screws that need to be unscrewed to take the bottom glove box off. Other than the frustration I Had with that one piece of the install, the rest was cake.
Well worth the investment now that I have CarPlay!

Added the nav upgrade to a 2014 Silverado and it works great. It literally took me 15 minutes to do. I’d highly recommend this. The only issue I have which is an apple issue not the nav upgrade is I can receive texts on the screen. But I just can’t answer them through the screen.

I am a Demolition estimator and i drive all day long looking for address and my phone was not cutting it for me any more as i have to go to areas where i have no phone service and constantly getting lost!! After doing some research and looking at alot of youtube videos on how to add factory navigation to your Mylink radio i decided to go with OEM Autoparts because its just unplug your old Hmi module and plug in your new one and run the antenna! No need for splicing cables and stuff like the other once i saw! This was the best decision i have ever made works very well and now i have signal all the time! No more getting lost.
