This Infotainment.com exclusive factory OEM Mopar Jeep Wrangler JL trailer tow wiring is now available as a fully integrated upgrade.
This Trailer Tow package contains a trailer tow wire harness that is to be connected between the body wire harness and the left rear lamp unit to provide a take out and a molded four-way trailer tow connector secured to a bracket near the trailer hitch receiver below the rear bumper.
Fused B+ for the plug receptacle is provided by the PDC. The BCM determines if the trailer tow configuration is going to be used. The BCM is triggered to apply the vehicle configuration once the receptacle is in use. There are 4 relays in the PDC that the BCM manages in order to provide voltage feeds to the receptacle. They are backup lamp relay control, left rear turn signal relay control, right turn signal relay control, and tail lamp relay control. The BCM activates the trailer tow park lamps relay driver whenever the park lamps status signal is true. This in turn causes the PDC relay to actuate and provide a trailer tow relay output feed to the receptacle. The BCM activates the trailer tow backup lamps relay driver whenever the backup lamp status signal is true. This is turn causes the PDC relay to actuate and provide a trailer tow backup lamp feed to the receptacle. The BCM activates the trailer tow left rear turn signal relay driver whenever the left turn signal status is true. This is turn causes the PDC relay to actuate and provide a left rear stop/turn signal feed to the receptacle. The BCM activates the trailer tow right rear turn signal relay driver whenever the right turn signal status is true. This is turn causes the PDC relay to actuate and provide a right rear stop/turn signal feed to the receptacle. With the combined lighting, the BCM uses the same circuit and relay to request stop lamp activation. The trailer tow receptacle receives this feed through both the right and left rear stop/turn signal feeds.
Our kit includes the security gateway module bypass and the OBD Genie C-AHT programmer which will enable the “AHTÂ : Trailer Tow Group” option code within the Jeep’s body control module. Dealer programming is not required!

Installation of this product would be rated a 4Â out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult.
It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

- The factory Mopar trailer hitch receiver is not sold with this kit but is offered online and through your local Jeep dealer. Part Number 82215209.

Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments
General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.
