Description
The primary purpose of this kit is to force enable CAN messages from the BCM to the newly installed radio. The features it will force are the heated seats, ventilated seats, and/or heated steering wheel controls on all 2013 & 2014 model year UAQ or UAS retrofit installations. This product is designed to be used with the Infotainment.com upgrade package.
Product Installation
Simply plug your factory radio connector into one end of the interface and plug the other end into the rear of the UAQ/UAS radio. Once installed, it may take several sleep cycles for the kit to work as designed. In some cases, the vehicle must sleep for several hours or overnight.

Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments
General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

This was the 1st of 2 I purchased this month. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was a good experience and was easy to install and worked perfectly. The 2014 also needed the extra module to keep the steering and seat heat/cool functions working. I purchased these upgraded radios to add Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The 2014 was a seems less install. The screen is beautiful and more responsive. The videos on YouTube really helped with the install.

The whole installation of the new radio in my 2014 Grand Cherokee went flawlessly! It went in exactly as clearly described in the video (Youtube). The Retrofit interface simply clicked in place and the system was up and running. I retained all my steering wheel and button functionality with an updated system. I just wish Jeep would support the Uconnect functions of this radio (their subscription services are based on vehicle VIN NOT installed radio). But Android auto brought back all that functionality without an annual subscription! Great job!

Worked ok when first installed, but the left bank of speakers stopped working properly. Removed it and plugged harness directly into head unit and speakers worked. Upon looking at the 4C interface noticed that several of the pins were not seared properly. Reseated pins, reinstalled 4C adapter and all is fine.

Package was an easy install, all advanced functions working perfectly, including heated steering wheel and heated seats. Definitely recommend getting this add on if doing the 2014 Grand Cherokee head unit update.

Installed in my 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland. Installed in the evening, and by morning, the seat and steering wheel climate control buttons had shown up. They would turn on, but almost immediately turn back off. By the next evening (so about 24 hours and a couple short drives) the steering wheel heater and seat heater/ventilation were all working exactly as expected.
For reference, I installed this with the radio from a 2017 Charger. I had to remove some of the mounts from the radio frame, and drill new holes in the radio bracket in the car, but the radio is fully compatible (just not a physical fit initially).

Without this piece, I would no longer have heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel. This was necessary to continue the features that was already in the car. I’m not sure I would have gotten the new radio without this support.

Exactly what I needed. Straight forward plug and play installation. I am no stranger to pulling a dash apart and the radio out. I can see how that would be the worst part about this job. I was done in less than 10 minutes with everything working as expected.

Got my new radio, usb interface, and 4C retrofit a month and a half after ordering it. Hard to blame infotainment.com as shipping times for everything is slow and exacerbated by delaminating screens. When I got it I immediately installed it myself. It’s worth mentioning 2014 Grand Cherokees that have the "toggle" shifter not the traditional one like in newer JGCs proved to be a pain. You cannot rotate the bezel to gain easy access to the two screws. You have minimal access and it’s possible but you’ll get scratched up good. Once installed everythink worked as intended, no need for the car to sleep or anything. I even have Android Auto in a car I never had it in before!
