Product Installation
Follow the basic installation video featured below. A more professional in-depth video will be shot in the coming weeks.
- Remove the passenger-side dash access panel
- Disconnect the 14-pin rear view mirror loom connector and plug it into the C-INTCAMRR female port
- Plug the male C-INTCAMRR connector into the same location as the factory rear view mirror loom connector
- Route the RCA cable behind the glovebox to behind the touchscreen radio
- Remove the radio and plug the factory radio connector into the C-INTC4T rear camera female port (remove heat shrink wrapping)
- Plug the male C-INTC4T into the rear of the touchscreen radio
- Plug the previously ran RCA cable into the yellow C-INTC4T RCA input

Things To Know
- This kit will work with factory and aftermarket touchscreen radios. If installing an aftermarket radio the C-INTC4T will not be required as most aftermarket radios have a dedicated rear camera RCA input.
- Per multiple requests, we designed the kit to retain the backup camera image on BOTH the rear view mirror and the newly installed radio display.
- 2013-2015 Ram truck owners with the factory installed CHMSL cargo camera can use this kit to reroute the backup camera image from the rear view mirror to the radio display. However, the 8.4-inch radio will require the 17.11.07 software or will need to be replaced with a MY16 or MY17 8.4-inch radio. Furthermore, you will need to plug the male yellow RCA into the female blue RCA on the C-INTC4T harness. Run this kit’s RCA into the female yellow RCA on the C-INTC4T harness. This procedure will allow the driver to have the backup camera image on the 8.4-inch radio and the rear view mirror. The cargo camera can be enabled manually by pressing the “cab cam” soft key while in reverse.

- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. I purchased the lastest in stereo for my truck, much better than any factory unit. Needed factory backup cam to show in new radio since it’s capable of 6 video inputs. Lucky to find YouTube video with just the product I needed.

The installation of the rear camera splitter / reroute kit was very easy. This truly is a plug-and-play system. I did swap the video inputs so that my backup camera always comes on first and I have to manually select the cargo camera. This is all shown in the install video from infotainment. I highly recommend this kit. Purchase, delivery, and install were simple if you have even modest knowledge of working on vehicle dashboard trim.

Ordered kit. Got it quick. Not realizing I had mis-read sw version on my truck. Decided to pre-install and later on order a replacement radio with the 17.11.07 sw. out of curiosity decided to install kit and test operation and it worked. With out kit my cargo camera icon on screen would not work, I need to select tailgate camera icon to view cargo camera. Started to test all functions and it fixed my operation of selecting camera view. cargo icon is for cargo and tailgate for tailgate. No need to order a replacement radio with 17.11.07.

After installing this kit, my rearview camera did not work. The camera view on the RA4 screen works, but had issues with the screen
showing poor picture quality, very fuzzy.
The problem was the RCA cable connection behind the radio. Just a small twist oft he connection and the camera will show a bad view of the rear!
To fix the problem, Once the RCA cables are connected, I twisted them to get the picture clear. Then I taped them together carefully and zip tied it to the wiring harness to keep it from moving. Install back together carefully and not slam the front cover back on.

Make sure to check which Uconnect software update you have. You must have the 17.11.07 or else this kit will not be compatible. I ordered this kit for my 2015 and installed it but unfortunately my truck did a software update earlier this year so this product isn’t compatible with he new update. Great product, just make sure you have the right software.

I have a 2014 Ram 3/4 ton with a mirror view when backing and cargo view on the radio screen. I’ve searched four long years trying to find a solution in moving the mirror screen to the radio. I found this Infotainment product. I called, Joel answered and was most helpful. I ordered it, got it in 5 days, installed it within 2 hours, and works great.

This kit is what I was waiting for to add a backup camera view on my 8.4" screen. My ’16 Ram came with the base radio and I upgraded to the RA4 right after I got the truck. It was missing the backup camera on the 8.4" screen because it had it on the rear-view mirror. This kit was easy to install and now shows the backup image on the radio screen AND the rear-view mirror. I am very happy!
One installation note: the RCA connection (in the radio harness necessary to make this work) was covered in heat shrink and had to be cut and separated. It was marked "in" which made it easy to identify it from the bed cam also in the harness.
