Things To Know
- All 2013-2015 Ram trucks with the 8.4-inch radio display must feature the 17.11.07 software update. This update allows for a cargo camera input. All other updates will not work for radios manufactured in 2013 / 2014 / 2015. If you are installing a radio manufactured in 2016+ it will be fully compatible no matter which software version is present.
- All 2013-2015 Ram radio upgrades sold by Infotainment.com will automatically feature the proper software update prior to shipping.
- All 2018+ Ram truck owners will receive a Module Bypass device which will allow the user to temporarily program their vehicle’s computer for the cargo camera feature.

- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

Install was fairly easy after watching a YouTube video, but the video didn’t cover the harness install. The video is OK, but seems a little washed out. It seems to be a quality unit so far. I would have liked to known that it was not in stock when I ordered it….took about a month to arrive.

Very easy install, just make sure you use the YouTube videos to make sure your wiring is correct. The quality of the package and items are better than OEM quality.

Opened the box and they sent out the wrong wiring harness. Contacted customer service and they promptly sent out the correct harness. They really need to work on their quality control as this isn’t the first time I have had a problem getting the correct parts the first time

I was planning on buying and installing all OEM equipment when it comes to the 3rd brake light camera but I decided to go with his kit to save money vs OEM equipment. Install was pretty easy, my suggestion would be to add a few instructions with the kit. It’s kind of a pain not to have paper instructions with some guidance and if you get stuck to have to stop and research how to continue. All the wiring seems to pretty good quality but I would like to caution future buyers that the picture quality is definitely not as good as the OEM cameras. When you switch between the factory tail gate camera and this camera, you can clearly see a difference between the two. I have yet to see if a factory replacement camera would be compatible with this kit. Overall it’s good quality and a good product for OEM appearance.

Installed in less than two hours , everything in kit was top notch. 2017 Ram Mega Cab. Looks like it was factory installed. Hardiest part was the rear trim panel and headliner, no special tools needed, everthing was plug and play. The obd genie unlock the screen and works great. Well worth it.

Although your videos are very informative it seems that your technology is expanding at a greater rate then the videos are able to keep up with so a written set of instructions with the current modifications would be very helpful. Your products are easy to install but not all the information needed is in the videos I had a couple of issues that were not addressed on the videos . I am still having some problems with the climate control.

Let me start by stating I really, really like this kit. I think it’s a great product and only time will tell if it’s worth it (longevity of product), but confident this is a worthwhile upgrade.
My only issue is the installation instructions. The first thing I noticed was the written instructions have you route the cable on the vehicle’s passenger side, and the video has route on the driver’s side. I opted for driver’s side as it looked to be easier. The second issue was my vehicle has a center console. Something I probably should’ve thought about when I initially watched the video instructions. This has to be removed prior to pulling the dash bezel. Also, this changes location of the power outlet. Luckily, with a little searching I found a different stereo installation showing the center console removal. Turned out to be really simple. This little bit of ignorance cost me about an hour of time and the overall installation took me about 3.5 hours.
Again, super happy about the product. Installation was simple enough once I figured what I was doing.

As others have stated, I like almost everything about this product. Only drawbacks are the cargo lights aim up in the air and my camera was to the passenger side. I adjusted the camera and it works great so no real complaint there. Overall I’m very satisfied with this. Company was great with fast shipping.

Good, easy installation just as the video described. The camera has good resolution, and the OBDII software install was flawless. I like the way the software uses the camera options. However, the cargo light does not illuminate the bed of the truck. It points up over the bed. (Yes I installed it correctly, right side up) the factory light points down as it should.

The third break light works great and camera is awesome. The things i fell need to be looked at are the oem gasket is a lot thicker and seals up the light where yours war thin and did a poor job. Also the factory screws are to big to fit in the existing holes of the light so i had to open them up. Otherwise I love it and happy to buy from you again
