Product Installation
Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Simply remove your dash “bezel” which is secured with retaining clips. Once removed this will allow clear access to the 4 screws that secure the radio to the dash. A 911 cable will also be provided which simply plugs into the purple connector on the backside of the radio.

- Customers who are currently subscribed to the paid subscription of UConnect Access® will forfeit this feature by upgrading to the new UConnect 4 system (which now uses Sirius Guardian®). At this time, it is extremely rare that Sirius Guardian will allow for a service retrofit.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing steering wheel mounted audio controls.
- If your vehicle is currently equipped with Sirius satellite radio then the factory roof mounted Sirius antenna will plug directly into our pre-programmed system. For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

I ordered the 8.4AN-RA4 to upgrade my 2016 from the Uconnect 5.0 stock radio.
Must admit I was a little skeptical, since the dealer told me there was no way to upgrade the radio (dummies!)Not only was this the easiest radio ever to replace (just as easy as the video), but it works beautifully.
I am super excited by the upgrade, and my wife really enjoys the GPSin the console, rather than the tiny screen blocking the windshield.
For sure this was better than expected, and money well spent.

Opened the box to find a custom cut foam insert that protected the unit. Except for a small comparability issue with my car I had it in in about 15 minutes. Spoke with Joe from the technical department and was very helpful. Within about 5 minutes of our conversation I received the overnight shipping information for the additional part I needed. I bought this to put into my Charger SE to replace the 5.0 RA2 radio to upgrade to the bigger screen and the navigation.
It has exceeded my expectations for the ease of installation and the features it comes with. To install, it is literally as simple as removing the dash bezel, four screws, and a few wire connections.
All my questions were answered patiently by Doug and Chris, and the transaction went smoothly. Shipping was free and the packaging was great. My new radio came in a bubble wrap bag, the necessary connectors and the security code card came in zip locks taped to the radio bag, and was surrounded by shipping peanuts. Everything arrived in perfect shape.
