Product Installation
Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio “bezel” dash surround trim typically held in with a few screws and/or retaining clips. A GPS antenna is included and easily installs behind the radio beneath the dash top under the windshield. - Infotainment.com uses the US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx as package carriers
- Orders are shipped Monday – Friday (excluding holidays)
- Infotainment.com fulfills orders from 5 different locations in North America. Individual items within the order may ship from different locations with different tracking numbers
- Shipments are not able to be re-directed by the customer after being sent
- Next Day or Overnight shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on the product and the technician labor that may be required.Not all expedited shipping methods are available to all locations.
- All orders will be assigned a tracking number. You will be emailed the tracking number once the shipping label is created. This can be tracked via the link in the email or directly on the carriers website.

General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

I purchased the upgrade RER system for my 2008 Ram Laramie. First radio I received had some internal issues going on after the install, I contacted the customer service team at OEM. Chris got back to me in a timely manner & was absolutely GREAT to deal with. He tried to diagnose the issues with me but ultimately the unit was returned & replaced with another radio. Next radio was perfect, & had no issues! Install is very easy & anybody could do it themselves. It was great that this company & the people who work there are committed to standing behind the products they sell. Some companies that sell products online are not so quick to stand behind them. But that’s not the case with these guys, they were awesome to deal with & they will make sure you are fully satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks! Great products & excellent customer service!

Had to modify where clips went through radio adapter plate into radio for bezel

The radio is great works as expected. Had one issue during the install with the AM/FM antenna adaptor. The 90 degree end on it came apart and the wire broke inside. I had to take the metal 90 degree end off of the cable and just use the plastic and metal end connector and solder the wire to the end then attach it to the plastic connector. This adapter is very cheaply made and I expected more for the price. Everything else in the kit was top notch but this. Also, the mounting of the GPS antenna there was a problem, after looking at Dodge Ram parts manual I had to make a small metal plate and drill a hole in it to mount the plate to the dash so the magnet of the antenna could attach to it. Their is only plastic in the spot allocated for the GPS antenna in the 2006 Dodge Ram. I still would like another AM/FM adaptor cable even though the hastily repaired one is working but I do not know for how long. I was not going to stop the install and have to wait two or three days. Everything else went great with the install except for the two above issues and the radio is working great. Also, is their a warranty I can purchase on this radio?

I ran into some problems with the rebuilt radio. I got nervous about the unit and I asked for a refund. I had no problem getting the refund and OEM acted very professionally with my request. For what it is worth I would do business with OEM again.

This My GIG radio is replacing the stock base radio in my 2006 Ram and I am glad I decided to purchase this as a kit. This a great "plug and Play" option and it comes with everything you need to install except for the antenna for the satellite radio and that was perfect for me because I wanted a more factory look so I Installed the Dodge factory style roof mounted antenna and antenna harness. over all I think the radio itself is a nice piece of equipment with great features and the lock pick unit that comes with it lets you expand its functionality even more.

Love the touchscreen radio and DVD player had an issue with install but the tech support told me what to do and kept checking in via email to check progress until I finished, and they even bought my old radio that was in my truck!

Very nice kit… Required removal of the tabs on the mounting tabs of the RER. Did the swap in my 06 Dodge Magnum w/ Uconnect Jumper in under an hour.
One side note… I was able to fast forward a CD with my steering wheel controls with the REC but lost that feature with the RER.
You’ll also lose audio from the VES with this upgrade… But can be fixed.

I replaced the old REC Nav radio in my Ram with a MyGIG radio upgrade kit, and the install was very easy and I received great customer service with a install question. This upgrade is a must have compared to the stock radio. The kit was 100% complete with all parts and cables to install the new radio.
