Things To Know
- Both backup camera kits are designed for the factory touchscreen radios however they will also work on aftermarket radio displays too.
- Once either camera is installed it is necessary to program the vehicle’s computer to enable the backup camera. We offer the OBD Genie C-RVC programmer.  This revolutionary product allows Ram owners the ability to program their truck for backup / rear view camera. Installation is a breeze and takes only a few minutes. The programmer will enable the backup camera feature on your truck’s computer just like it would from the factory.

Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments
General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.Â
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877Â or FedEx1-800-463-3339Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

Just installed this on a 2012 Ram and it works perfectly. I just followed the instruction video and the install was pretty easy. The hardest part was feeding the AV connector through the grommet. I had a issue with the OBD genie not working contacted support and they responded almost l instantly with a fix. Downloaded a app and connected to it with Bluetooth and changed a setting. Real easy if you have a iPhone or iPad. Would definitely recommend.

All the hardware is great and it’s very nice not to have to touch the factory harness. However, my radio already had a connector like the other reviewer’s did. I was able to remove the pins from the supplied connector with a pick and put them into the factory connector—10 minutes even as a first timer. Just YouTube “depinning connectors. The OBD Genie didn’t work with the truck running, but tech support advised me to do it with the key in the accessory position and it worked perfectly. Running the wires through the parking brake grommet was pretty tough, so I slit the grommet with a razor blade. All in all a good product, just be aware it might be slightly more complicated than indicated in the video.

Clean factory look. By using my existing stereo system I have an aftermarket factory-installed backup camera. By replacing the existing tailgate handle with the provided replacement handle with the camera installed I gave the tailgate a clean look. There is nothing extra video screen mounted to my dash on the rearview mirror obstructing my view there is no screwed on attachment to my license plate area either. Simplist installs ever. I watched their youtube install video and knew that was for me. I made the purchase that same day. Best part, is they offer a 4 easy payment plan, very friendly staff thanks Thomas. got my vin and it was shipped out with everything needed in a kit to complete the installation. HOWEVER… I didn’t expect to disassemble the white factory plug provided. No worries. From the video, it’s plug and play as in the video no white connector was installed but on my stereo there was a white connector. So I called Thomas, he got me to tech service and you need to remove with a toothpick the red and black wires from the provided connector and transfer them to the corresponding slots on your factory white connector. Once you plug in the obd connecter(provided) and turns green your good to go! SIMPLE !! I am so Impressed with this install I’m showing and telling everybody.

my truck is 21.5 feet bumper to bumper, installing the backup camera sure makes my life a lot easier in tight parking lots, as well as hooking up the camper and boat.
I also upgraded the stock radio with the non navigation display, installation videos made this an easy upgrade.thank you
