Product Installation
Simply remove and replace your truck’s side-view mirrors. Remove and replace the right front door module, the left front door module, and the left front door switch. Once the hardware installation is complete temporarily install the included bypass device so you can run the included OBD Genie C-PFM programmer by plugging it into the truck’s OBDII port under the steering column. Once the green light appears the programming is complete and the bypass device can be removed!

Things To Know
- Driver’s side auto-dim mirror will function as long as the truck features a factory installed interior auto-dim rear view mirror. Ram does not offer passenger side auto-dim mirrors.
- Orders may ship in two or three separate packages depending on stock
- This upgrade is only compatible with trucks equipped with power windows & door locks. If your truck has manual roll-up windows this upgrade is not possible to perform.
- To reprogram the power window “auto down” feature simply hold the driver/passenger window switch in the downward position for 10 seconds.
- If you don’t know whether or not you currently have the BSM feature, simply look for a small triangle on your factory installed side view mirror. See photo below.

For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811Â trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

I love my new retractable tow mirrors. Getting in and out of the garage is a lot easier. Install was easy. I followed the video. It did not include upgrading the modules in the door but it was easy. I followed a different video from a QR code to program. Easy. My engine light went on for 2 days but went off after that.

Ordered the parts on a Wednesday, received all my parts on Sunday. Install only took an hour for both sides and updating the programming. My Ram 1500 now has all the features that should of came with the truck, shame on Ram! Had an issue with one of the mirrors due to the packaging handling. Infotainment called me and took care of me and then some. If your on the fence, jump off and give them a shot. Watch the video if your not handy. No regrets here.

I purchased the folding tow mirror upgrade for our 2019 Ram 1500. As someone who doesn’t wrench on cars, I was unaware of how hard you have to pull to get the door clips to release – the videos don’t show an installer pulling with all of their weight to get them to release – but once that was out of the way, the rest of the install was straightforward.
The only issue I had was that the new window button cluster was backlit with different color LEDs – the original was a warm white – while the new cluster was a cool white. I took my old button cluster apart and swapped the plastic top piece with the mirror fold button onto my old cluster (which has the fold functionality – just no button to actuate it) and it worked great. Would have been nice to know that was something I needed to do. I submitted a tech ticket to infotainment 28 days ago to make them aware of that issue – no reply.Helpful (0) Unhelpful (0) -
Mirrors fit and work great. I had a small problem withe the new switch not being fully illuminated. Contacted customer service and a new switch was sent out immediately! New switch is fully illuminated! Fantastic sales, customer service and tech support! I highly recommend them and I plan to make additional purchases in the future!

The main reason I bought the mirrors is because they are factory mirrors…no aftermarket!
The video they have for installing the mirrors was great except….taking off the door panel. I’m sure before the video was made they have removed the door panel many times before because my panel was a Bear to take off.
After all said and done, I am very happy with the mirrors and the service I received .

Watched video how to install several times. Was simple-not as easy as man doing it in the video. Only reason I never gave them a 5 star was the blind spot mirror part will not adjust like ones came on truck. After 3 years 10 months my 2019 ram has everything on it I want. Do recommend even if they are costly.

The only negative part of this purchase was that it took an entire month to actually get it after I paid for it. Other than that, it was exactly as described and the installation video was pretty spot-on. This is a lot to pay for mirrors, but I think it would cost even more if you tried to get all the parts yourself.

Took 40 minutes to install the first mirror and 30 minutes for the second. The computer programming took a few seconds and it was all done. Factory folding mirrors installed and working. But all the expense of this project was due to RAM cutting functionality of the Bighorn from the 2021 model year to the 2022 model.

This mirror upgrade is fantastic. Super easy to install and instruction video on the site is spot on. Don’t be afraid to jump in and add this upgrade to your rig. Only piece of advice would be to use a body panel tool to remove the door panel. It just makes it that much easier to apply direct pressure to the connectors. Good luck, but you won’t need it.

I will start by saying that for me, it seems every project like this usually requires multiple trips to the parts store and profanity. It took about 3 months for all the parts to arrive, but what doesn’t these days. Installing these powerfold mirrors on my 2022 RAM Rebel took about an hour total without any hassels using ordinary tools and a little muscle (pulling the door panels). These are OEM parts and the programming module worked like a charm. Step by step YouTube video was very comprehensive.
